Cesar’s (Choice)

Normally I’m not a huge pizza fan, but I have to say that Cesar’s Choice is definitely divine. Baked chicken breast, spring onions, Brie, and cashew nuts topped with plum sauce – mmm…

Anyway… Yesterday, as a favour to a friend who owns Cesar’s (it was his birthday, ok – I’m not going soft) I worked the bar. A quiet Sunday, in the middle of Easter, should be a nice relaxing day right? We opened early at 1pm (instead of the usual 5pm) as a few of the usual suspects wanted to come in and watch the Warriors snatch defeat from the jaws of victory (again). by 3pm the place was packed, and stayed that way.

I’d like to point out at this juncture that I spent 11-12 hours in close proximity to Wild Turkey, and did not have one drink. I have witnesses, as Jacqui, Daile, and Rodney came up for dinner, and inhaled 2 x large Cesar’s Choice and pizza bread.

As I’ve pointed out, I’m not an alcoholic – I’m a drunk. Alcoholics go to meetings.

I really like gourmet pizza but so many places chuck all sorts of random stuff on and hope they come up with something nice.
