Recently we have been introduced into the world of technology and now have an Apple iMac, broadband, and a new LCD television.  The boon these have been from both a functional and pleasure perspective have been excellent, so we are wondering what other wonderful additions to our life we are missing out on. 

Any and all suggestions, comments, and insights welcome   

I say iPod!  I've had 3 now and have loved all of them -definitely THE toy of the 21st century so far.  It's so good having music to go in such a small package that looks so cool.  In the last few years there's been lots of times I would've been bored if I hadn't of had my iPod

Yeap.  iPod.  Had a couple myself and couldn't live without it.

I'm not sure I'd find a use for an iPod - as attractive a device as they may be.  A little beyond my generation, I feel!

You may feel the music is, but how about the podcasts and material from iTunesU available?  There's podcasts on almost every subject imaginable, and content from many top universities world wide, and all can be listened to via an iPod or iTunes

These sound quite intriguing, sir.  Whereabouts would I find such material?

Lackadaisical, go to http://www.apple.com and click the iTunes link at the top, and you will be presented with a download link.  Once installed and running, in the left hand pane there will a link to the iTunes Store and within you will find iTunesU.  Well worth a browse
