Apple's iPhone officially coming to New Zealand.

New Zealand is one of ten countries in which Apple's iPhone will be officially available.  The ten are: 

New Zealand, Australia, the Czech Republic, Egypt, Greece, Italy, India, Portugal, South Africa and Turkey.

For those who already have one, it's probably not fantastic news, however New Zealand is getting the 3G version, and Visual Voicemail will work at last Smiley

This device has caused quite a stir the world over - is it really such an industry-changing device as the media would lead us to believe? 

I do not use my current cellular phone as frequently as most, and part of this is due to being unable to figure out how to carry out many tasks with it.  Does the iPhone alleviate this issue, and is it suitable for those of an earlier generation?

i would say get a parallel imported 1 but they wont work the same when these ones are here as they will be linked with their own plans

It seems the device has caused quite a stir worldwide.  I shall take a look at one once they arrive to see for myself what all the fuss is about.

I just received an email from Vodafone.  Didn't really say too much except their new iPhone plans are coming soon.  It's a good thing they're going to have their own plans, right?

Bloody expensive is what they are!  I was looking but now looking overseas.  Vodafone can go take a running jump.  They're just being greedy pricks so can shove it.
