I know – my blog is now shrinking. It’s not only not getting larger – it’s getting smaller! It’s all part of the charm. Seriously, I’ve finally had time to do some work on the servers, so there will be some posts added real soon now. Really. For now, take a look at some photos …
It’s out!!!
At last. The sun, that is. I think it may be lost. We’ll see how long this lasts. p.s. the first person who even thinks about washing their car will get hosed off themselves.
Bl**dy weather!
It’s the end of October. Summer supposedly. It’s raining. Again. It’s not hot and sunny like summer should be. Of course I am in Auckland. Bugger the motorway. Do something about the damn weather! Tickets are booked, and we’re hopping on a plane to somewhere sunnier shortly. ’bout time. End of rant.
Love. Or in Love?
A while ago a thought about the above came to me, and it’s elegant in it’s simplicity. If you love someone, you want them to be happy. If you’re in love with someone, you want them to be happy with you.
I’m slack.
I’ve been told this by a number of people now, as I don’t update my blog enough. I agree! When I have a moment, I’ll spend it telling you why I was too busy to tell you what’s been happening. Simple…

I was not happy with the rain, and overcast days…
…so the world responded. The last few days have been scorchers, with a great deal of humidity thrown in. We’ve meant to go swimming, but the heat means that we just can’t gather the strength to do so. Such a catch-22.
Kiwi baches
What do you think of when reading the above? For me, the kiwi bach is a ~3 bedroom smallish kinda house which had an outside hose/shower for getting the sand off, a 14″ or 21″ TV for the rugby, the old furniture from the family home, and wasn’t worth much more than the family car. …
It’s that time again.
The time where a month has passed, and I feel I really should be adding to this blog. Of course, 2 bourbons and an episode of SG-1 later; it’s gone! Err. The feeling that is.
Another day – or not
About 8am, the phone rings. I answer it, to hear a duet of ‘Happy Birthday’. Quite a reasonable rendition, too – in fact, I’d rate it better than what I’d heard on NZ Idol this time around. This birthday was brilliant. Good food, good drink, and great company…oh – and a Wild Turkey shirt. To …
