Why is it so hard to get fresh bread here?? The stuff from the bakeries and so on are usually full of preservatives and other stuff. If I go through the motions of buying fresh bread it’s cause I want to eat it that day, not keep it for a week!!!!

Steinlager is gross. All beer is really – only one I touch is Corona with a wedge of lime on a really hot summer day.

It’s a pity that decent beers from Europe are so expensive in comparison to the American and Australian brands we get here in NZ. As you have discovered the taste and aroma are so much more developed, yet subtle, than the alternatives. I’m quite partial to Staropramen when I can locate it in the supermarket.
